The rings are filled with colored water and either a turtle or a fish is swimming about. They are being sold at many subway entrances and train stations around China. The turtles and fish are fed by the nutrients in the water.
According to specialists the creatures won’t live long contained in the sealed bag without air. Until the laws change in china there isn’t anything that the animal rights people can do, but protest and hope that people stop buying them.
